About Fearow
Hello I'm Fearow, a double barred Finch. Now when it comes to cuteness and adorability you can't go past my species. In our natural habitat we're usually found in northern & eastern Australia, and we particularly love to hang out around water sources, scrubland, open woodlands and grassy plains. If you're wondering what to feed me then you can choose from a good quality seed mix, sprouted seeds, millet sprays, shell grit, greens, live food such as meal worms & a vitamin supplement. And I'll need an aviary or enclosure where I can flutter around and replicates my natural surroundings. We're often found in pairs, so it would be wonderful to come home to you with one of my Finch friends here at the RSPCA.
If you think Fearow might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today: https://www.rspcaqld.org.au/expression-of-interest-to-adopt (and please don't forget to include a photograph of your bird enclosure! Some tips on cage set ups can be found here: https://kb.rspca.org.au/knowledge-base/what-kind-of-enclosure-does-my-bird-need/ ).
Adoption Price: $10
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
