Hi! My name is Squirrel

I was given my name when I first got to the shelter because I was so scared I would run up the walls the same way a squirrel would run up a tree but since going into foster care I have made fantastic progress and every day I get a little braver.
Since I returned to the shelter, I have been coming over to sniff my carer's hands and lean in for some cheek scratches. I've even started to enjoy being picked up and cuddled for a short time, lots of purring!!
I love other cats and even dogs.
I will continue to flourish in a new loving home; I've come so far already.

My ideal home is...
- A quieter home without very young children as I am nervous about lots of noise and activity.
- One with toys! I would love a home with lots of toys and things to keep me busy.
- I would love a home with other fur-friends.

Other pets at home? No worries! - If you choose to adopt a cat that is suitable to live with other animals, it is important that a slow introduction over the course of a few weeks is followed, to ensure a smooth transition into your home for your newly adopted friend, and to not upset any existing furry residents! Please ask our staff for more information.

I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite prevention. I have lots of love to give, please come and meet me as soon as you can.
