About Pea-Tuna
Meet Pea-Tuna, the vibrant and captivating peahen currently available for adoption, along with her boyfriend, Pea-Casso, at the RSPCA O'Halloran Hill Animal Care Campus!
With her stunning, iridescent feathers and striking plumage, Pea-Tuna is a true work of nature's art. Although a little shy, she's not just a pretty face, she's also curious & intelligent. Whether she's gracefully strutting around or showing off her magnificent shimmery neck feathers, Pea-Tuna is sure to bring a touch of elegance to your backyard.
We are unsure how old Pea-Tuna is however, can say she is a mature adult.
Care for Peacocks:
Peacocks require a spacious environment with plenty of room to roam and spread their stunning feathers. A secure enclosure with both shelter and access to outdoor space is ideal. They need a balanced diet consisting of grains, seeds, fruits, and vegetables, along with fresh water. Regular maintenance of their living space is essential to prevent illness and ensure their happiness. Peacocks are social creatures, so they thrive when they have companionship-either with other peacocks or birds of similar temperament. They also enjoy sunbathing and dust baths, which help them keep their feathers in prime condition.
If you're ready to give Pea-Tuna and Pea-Casso a beautiful home where they can showcase their stunning feathers, come meet them at the RSPCA today!
Please note: Pea-Tuna is bonded with Pea-Casso and they are seeking a new home together as a bonded pair.
Adoption Fee: $60 for Pea-Tuna and $80 for her boyfriend Pea-Casso
