About Ollie

Ollie is a 9-month-old Harrier x who is every bit the classic hound - full of energy, curiosity, and character. He can be a little anxious at times and prefers handling on his own terms, but with patience and positive experiences his confidence is growing.

Ollie is food-motivated, takes treats gently, and already knows a few basics like sit and shake, though he'll need further guidance with his training, especially loose-lead walking. Like many hounds, he can be boisterous and is still learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs. He may be okay going home with a calm role model canine companion, pending a successful meet-and-greet.

Ollie's new family must understand hounds and be ready to meet his high needs with structure, enrichment, and consistency. In the right home, he'll make a loyal and entertaining companion for those who appreciate the hound way of life.
