About Scaly Joe
Hi, my name is Scaly Joe and I'm a Coastal Carpet Python. You would usually find my species down the eastern coast of Australia and maybe even in your backyard.
I am still getting used to handling so prefer to come out of my enclosure with a hook. I have improved with my handling since arriving at RSPCA but will need continued practice to improve. I am definitely a nosey parker and love to see what's going on outside my enclosure. I love my rodents and am a fantastic feeder!
I require a UV light and heat lamp, basking area and water bowl. I need an enclosure where I can comfortably grow to stretch out and move around.
