Meet Oreo - a sweet, affectionate girl with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. Oreo has been through a lot, including a past dog attack, so she can be a bit anxious around other dogs. She's learning to trust again and needs slow, respectful introductions at her own pace. Oreo adores her people and thrives on closeness - she'll happily curl up in your lap and shower you with kisses. She walks calmly on lead and enjoys exploring at her own rhythm. Currently recovering from heartworm, Oreo is looking for a calm, indoor home where she's truly part of the family. She's not too fussed about toys but may become more playful once she settles. Oreo would do best with older children and someone home often, especially during her transition. She can meet other dogs but is best matched with gentle, social companions. No dog parks or off-lead areas, please.
