Hi, I'm Jasper!I'm a sweet, sensitive soul who's still learning what it means to live in a loving home. I'll need a quiet, safe space-like a crate or cozy room in my new home, where I can retreat when I feel overwhelmed, and a family who'll let me grow at my own pace.Busy places like dog parks or cafés aren't for me, but I do love zooming around the yard, play bowing, and even splashing in the pool! I'm discovering toys too-sometimes I bark or pounce at them, but I'm still figuring what to actually do with them. Maybe my new paw-rents can teach me? Food is my love language - Kongs, wobblers, treats, you name it! I'd thrive with a calm, confident female doggy friend to help me feel safe and show me the ropes in the home. Older, respectful kids (teens and up) would be great too, since I get nervous around loud noises and am still working on building trust around touch and closeness. But I'm getting better! And once I get to know you, I'm a total snuggle muffin-I'll lean into you, sit on your lap, and soak up all the love I can. A secure yard with solid fencing is a must as this will help me feel safe and secure in my new home and encourage me to relax.
