About Azara

Azara is a sensitive young cat who came into care after a traumatic experience and needed time to feel safe. With patience and consistency, she has been slowly building trust and learning that people can be gentle.

She enjoys quiet, calm environments and prefers affection on her own terms when ready, particularly gentle cheek and chin pats. Azara is not a fan of close handling or restraint and does best when her boundaries are respected.

Azara LOVES other cats and gains confidence from their companionship, so she will need a home with a friendly, confident resident cat.

She is looking for a patient, understanding adopter with cat experience who is happy to go at her pace and continue supporting her confidence. She will need considerate handling for vet visits.

With the right home, Azara truly shows her gentle nature - a sweet, sensitive girl who is quietly affectionate and deeply appreciative of kindness. For the person willing to meet her where she is, Azara will be a very special and rewarding companion.
