About Elliot

Elliot is a chatty, sweet boy who needs a calm and patient home to help him settle in. He should start off in a small launch room and be given time to feel safe before exploring the rest of the house, as large open spaces can be overwhelming.His home should include plenty of enrichment such as scratch posts, cat trees, and safe hiding places like cardboard boxes or cat igloos, with access to shelves or dressers to provide high and low safe spaces throughout the house.Elliot is very cat social and would benefit from going home with another confident feline to help boost his confidence. He may also do okay with a calm, social dog if interactions are carefully monitored. Teens or older children who understand cat body language and know when to give him space would be ideal.He is still touch avoidant and will need an adopter willing to let him approach at his own pace. Food and play, particularly with wand toys, are great ways to bond with him. Elliot absolutely loves chicken and is motivated by treats, which helps build trust and positive experiences.
