About Nessie

Hi hiiii! I'm Nessie, an 11-month-old Kelpie with endless energy, enthusiasm, and a big, bouncy personality. I wake up every day ready to run, explore, learn, and play-basically, I'm a happy little rocket who thinks life is one big adventure.

I'm super smart, super curious, and always on the lookout for the next fun thing to do, whether that's chasing toys, solving puzzles, or zooming around with excitement.

I absolutely love toys (all of them), going on adventures, and playing with other dogs-though I can be quite full-on with my enthusiasm, so good introductions are important. Because I can be very lively, I'm recommended for older children who can handle my big energy. I also have the potential to live with another dog, pending a meet and greet, to make sure our personalities match.

Because I'm a true working-breed girl with a busy brain and even busier legs, breed experience is recommended to help me thrive.

Even though I'm a high-energy pup, I'm actually suitable for full-time workers as long as I get enough enrichment, exercise, and routine to keep me happy. After all my zoomies and adventures, I love settling down for snuggles-I may be wild, but I'm also a sweetheart.

Before adoption, I'll need to meet with the behaviour team between Tuesday and Friday, just to make sure we're the perfect fit and to help set me up for success in my new home.
