About Berty

A Brave Little Budgie in Progress

Meet Berty, a very fearful male budgie who is still discovering that the world can be kind. He prefers to observe quietly from a safe spot and isn't ready for handling yet, but watches everything with gentle curiosity.

Berty will do best in a calm, patient home that celebrates small steps. After his quarantine period, he may benefit from joining a friendly budgie flock, where he can build confidence by being around other birds. With time, routine, and kindness, Berty has the potential to grow braver at his own pace.

If you have a soft spot for shy little souls, Berty may be the perfect fit.
