About Gypsy
Gypsy is a lovely, affectionate young shepherd who forms strong bonds with her people once she feels safe. She enjoys being part of the family, joining in on gentle outdoor adventures as well as spending quiet time at home. She can be unsettled in new or noisy environments and around unfamiliar people, so Gypsy will do best with a calm, patient family who can go at her pace and give her time to settle in. She can be worried with close handling and may become avoidant, so positive, slow handling with regular breaks is important. Ongoing positive touch training is recommended to build her confidence with grooming and vet care.
Gypsy is a smart girl who loves her food and benefits from meals fed through enrichment toys to support mental stimulation. She is dog‑reactive and will need an adopter committed to ongoing positive‑reinforcement training. Walks in quiet, open areas during low‑traffic times are recommended. Gypsy is looking for a dedicated, understanding family who can provide structure, enrichment, and continued support to help her confidence grow.
