About Shadow
Hi there all my new friends! My name is Shadow.
I'm a super sweet and handsome boy, looking for the perfect place to call home. I absolutely love cuddles and pats so I will never be far from your lap. I can't wait to curl up in bed or snuggle up on the couch and watch your favourite movies, I have a lot to catch up on! I would also prefer to go home to a family with older children who can understand my body language.
The team here at the RSPCA are a little bit selective with my new home because I have something called FIV. I'm not sick or going to pass anything along to you but I could pass it on to another cat that you might have at home. For this reason, I can only go to a home that either has another FIV+ cat or no other cats at all. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is an autoimmune condition, so it basically means I am normal kitty cat, but I could get sick easier than most other cats because my immune system is not as strong. Not to worry though because I am very healthy and I will live a long and healthy life if you just follow a few simple rules; don't let me outside, feed me a good diet and give me lots of love! Also don't worry... I can't pass it onto you!
