Hi! My name is River!

I am a beautiful, curious and gentle-natured girl. I have been learning a lot about trust in recent months and am getting braver every week.
I love treats and am slowly getting used to some pats but I mostly still only like these when I'm eating my favourite creamy treats. I'm a creature of habit and have my favourite spots I like to hang out and sleep at different times of day. I would love a house with spots like a desk or windowsill where I can sit up high to watch the world go by, and ideally my own room where I can retreat if I'm feeling a bit nervous.
I love playing with my person and my toys, especially in the evening, or sitting next to them on the couch to watch TV. I can still get startled a bit easily, so I think I'll do best in a calm house with a predictable routine. Given how much progress I've made already, I'm sure I've still got more of my personality to show, it might just take some time for me to show you.
