About Sylvie
Meet Sylvie, a quiet girl who loves a bit of chicken and gentle head rubs. She's a sensitive soul, so she'll thrive in a calm and patient home where her new family can take the time to help her feel comfortable.
Sylvie can become over-stimulated with too much petting, so it's important to watch for signs like flicking tails, dilating pupils, and flattened ears. Encouraging play with toys instead of hands and using play therapy will help her channel her energy and reduce stress.
Providing indoor enrichment, such as vertical spaces and licky mats, will keep her engaged and give her a safe outlet for her energy. Structured playtime twice daily with a variety of toys-like fishing line toys or small mice-will enrich her environment.
We recommend a home with teens or older kids who can understand basic cat body language and know when to give Sylvie space. With a calm setup and plenty of love, Sylvie will make a wonderful addition to a patient family!
