About Stellar

Black cats are known for being quirky and different - Stellar is all that! She exhibits behaviours that are more dog-like e.g. wagging her tail, delighting in your presence and rolling on the floor in enjoyment. We think she's capable of learning many commands, if you have the patience to teach her. Stellar is very inquisitive and she will love exploring inside your home. She will enjoy finding little surprises (e.g. snacks) that you have planted for her to find and life will become lots of fun. Therefore, if you would love to have a beautiful, sleek black cat in your life, meeting Stellar is a good place to start. She shows a lot of love for her human guardians and responds with purrs and affection. Recommendations for her care:-

## A nutritious diet of high-quality dry biscuits, healthy wet food and fresh, cool water. Vet visits are recommended.
## A safe, indoor lifestyle is an absolute must for Stellar as outside is too dangerous for her and she will become lost very quickly.
## Inside the home, fun can be provided by providing 2 large cat towers placed conveniently near a window and the other one where people gather. She really enjoys these scratching posts at the Shelter. She is currently learning to play with wand toys.
## Stellar could live with other pets, however success would depend on how well she is introduced to the household.
## She would do best in a home with gentle older children (8 years plus) who understand cat behaviour.
