About Vegemite

Like many of us introverted humans, Vegemite likes to be picky with the people he chooses to bond with. Even the lucky people that he bonds with will find that he is a project cat and will take time to feel comfortable with you and your home environment. What we're trying to say is, you need to earn his love, and his love takes a while to earn, several months even (possibly quicker if treats are involved). Once earned, you'll see Vegemite's true personality come out. He is a curious cat that likes to explore, watch birds from the window, play and eat treats. He does enjoy pats, IF he deigns you to touch him. But not for one second, will he ever accept being held. What he lacks in 'squish and holding ability' though, he strives in brains and trainability. He is one smart gentleman and is quick to pick up carrier training when rewarded with yummy treats. When it comes to other cats, Vegemite gives his love freely and without restraint. He can be a little overly eager, so he needs another cat friend that is also just as keen for a feline companion. So if you're out there trying to play match maker for your overly cat-affectionate feline, Vegemite just might be your cat's new best friend.
