Rambo is a bright, energetic young Cattle Dog mix who’s looking for more than just a home—he’s looking for his person. After a rough start to life, Rambo learned to entertain himself the only way he knew how: by obsessively playing with tennis balls. Unfortunately, that obsession has grown to a point where they’re no longer suitable toys for him, so he now needs help learning how to enjoy playtime in new and healthier ways.Rambo would do best with a dog owner who understands the needs of high-energy working breeds. He thrives on structure, training, and engagement. While he’d be very happy as your one-and-only, Rambo could also live with a well-matched, playful dog of similar size and breed who can handle his style of play.He’d prefer a calm adult home or one with older teens, and a secure backyard would be ideal for his daily exercise and enrichment. He’s house-trained, smart, and has a solid foundation of basic manners.This boy is ready to bond deeply with someone who sees the dog behind the tough beginning.
