Samy is a shy, reserved, and incredibly adorable little cat who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. The busy shelter environment has been overwhelming for him, but we know he’s one of those special cats who truly blossoms with one on one human connection, a quiet home, and lots of patience.Originally brought in as a scared stray, Samy has already shown us glimpses of the loving house cat he can become. He may turn away or retreat when first approached, but if you sit with him, speak softly, and give him time to sniff and settle, he’ll start to relax, and might even lean in for some chin scratches.Samy is also a bit of a foodie! He adores creamy treats and will happily lick them right off your finger, making treats the perfect way to earn his trust.This sweet boy prefers to be the center of your world and is not comfortable around other cats, so he’ll thrive as your one and only pet. Samy would do best in a calm home with adults or teens, especially those with some experience with shy or fearful cats.If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and watch grow into a confident companion, Samy may be the perfect match.
