Breed-Savvy Home • Teenagers (15+) • Potential Second DogHello! My name is Winnie, and I’m a young Labrador with a sensitive, thoughtful nature. I haven’t experienced much of the Big Wide World yet, so I’m looking for a breed-savvy family who understands Labradors and is excited to help me build confidence and life skills at my own pace.I can feel a little worried when first meeting new people, but I don’t take long to warm up. Once I feel safe, I’m very affectionate and will happily seek out pats and reassurance from my humans.I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy daily walks and playtime, but I’m equally happy to relax and unwind with my people. I’d thrive in a home where my humans work average hours, and I especially enjoy having company, as I can find being left alone outside a little worrying. Because of this, I would be best suited to a work-from-home household or someone who is retired, where I can feel safe and supported.Because I’m a gentle soul, I’d do best in a calm, quiet household with children aged 15 and older. I can be a little selective with my dog friends, so while I’m not quite ready for off-leash dog parks yet, I may enjoy structured dog playdates with the right canine companions. A potential second dog could be considered with careful introductions.With patience, guidance, and love, I’ll blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.
