Hi there,

My name is Rusty and I am an old soul finally on the look out for my forever home! Could this be with you?

I have a lot of character and am guaranteed to make you laugh with my silly head tilt and my euthanasic high fives. I was in pretty poor condition when I came in but the staff here have really helped me out and I'm ready for the next step on my journey to happiness - a home!

At the shelter I have discovered that beds are super comfortable, and I'm often found cozy in my kennel. I also love a sunbeam, it makes my coat glow, and I feel all warm inside. I would love a home with a yard where I can explore and sniff and catch a sun beam.

Despite being a younger kelpie, my soul is on the older side and I dont have the non stop energy of a kelpie. I much prefer watching you and keeping you company. I would love a quieter household with people who just like to hang around at home together. We can definitely go on some adventures once I have settled in but I'm no running partner.

I haven't met a lot of dogs at the shelter so I would prefer to be the only dog in the household whilst I build my confidence and I wouldn't suit going to high traffic dog areas like dog parks or off leash areas.

I really, really, REALLY, hope you are the one for me because I just cant wait to get out of here and start the life I deserve!
