About Diego

Hi there! I’m Diego, a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a bit of a mysterious side. I’ve been through a lot while at the shelter, but I’m ready to find my forever home. When I first arrived, I had a little setback with ringworm, but don't worry—I’m all healed up and ringworm-free now!

I’m a bit shy at first, especially when it comes to human touch. I like to do things on my own terms, but once I get to know you, I’m a sweet boy who enjoys a good pat or cuddle every now and then. I might not be the cuddliest cat right off the bat, but I promise I’ve got a lot of love to give if you’re patient with me.

One thing I do love is food. If you want to win me over, just offer me a tasty treat, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. I’m an independent guy who likes to take things at my own pace, but I’m definitely worth the wait.
