About Colt

Howdy! I'm Colt, a 5-month-old male Australian Cattle Dog cross. I'm full of energy and always ready for a new adventure, especially if that involves the beach. I will need some time going slow in my new home before blossoming into the little man I have become in my loving foster home. I'm a working breed, so I need a home where I can channel my energy into fun activities and learning new things.

I'm not too picky about my doggy friends, but I'd prefer to avoid off-leash dog parks - I like my space! I have met many canine friends and would be best suited to a home with an older companion who can teach me calm behaviours. I haven't met many other animals and will need slow introductions before being able to have unsupervised time together.

My curiosity often leads me to exciting adventures, but I can be a bit overwhelmed by the big wide world. With patience and guidance, I’ll blossom into a confident and well-adjusted companion. Positive reinforcement training will help him learn cues and good manners while strengthening your bond.

• Solid fencing
• Committed to ongoing training
