About Joey

Joey is a sweet and curious puppy with a unique look and a gentle soul. Having come from a home with limited exposure to people, Joey is still learning about the big world around him. He’s shown that he feels more confident when he has the company of another dog, so he must go to a home with a friendly and well-adjusted canine companion to help him settle and grow. Though he’s shy at first, Joey has a lot of love to give once he feels safe. In care, he has shown fearful behaviors, like hiding, so a crate in his new home is highly recommended to provide him with a secure, quiet space where he can retreat whenever he needs.

What Joey Needs:

• An experienced dog owner who understands how to build trust with a shy puppy
