About Fisher
Hello there! (I AM CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE)
My name is Fisher, and I’m a sweet, friendly lady on the lookout for my forever home.
In my foster home, I’ve figured out the best ways to spend my time—like roaming around, lying by my foster carer's side while they tap away on their weird little TVs (they call them "laptops"), and soaking up the sunshine while birdwatching from the window.
I should also confess… my past life gave me a bit too much love in the food department, so I’ve been on a weight loss journey since arriving at the RSPCA. I feel much better already, but I still need my future humans to help me stay on track so I can be my healthiest, strongest self!
I have to admit, I can be a little nervous when I first arrive somewhere new. Loud noises and sudden movements startle me, but once I settle in, I absolutely love home life! Since I can be a bit shy, I’d do best in a quiet home with no children under 12. When I first arrived at my foster home, having a launch room really helped me settle in. A launch room is a quiet, safe space (like a spare room or cozy area) where I can relax and adjust at my own pace before exploring the rest of the home. It made a big difference in helping me feel comfortable, so I’d love to have the same setup in my forever home!
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion and are happy to give me a little time to adjust, I just know we’ll be the perfect match. Could you be my new best friend?
