Hi there, future best human!

My name’s David, and I’m a sweet little guy looking for my forever home. You might notice something a bit odd about me — my tail is shaved! It looks a little funny now, but it’ll grow back soon. I had to get it shaved because I was recovering from ringworm (yep, it was on my tail), but it’s all clear now.

Because of some vet visits and lots of new people having to touch me, I’ve gotten a bit overwhelmed with touch lately. I’m working on learning to enjoy this again, but I’ll need a calm home with no kids under 6, because I’m a little shy and can be avoidant when things are new.

I’d love a safe room where I can have some quiet time to settle in when I go home—somewhere all mine to feel comfortable before exploring the rest of the house.

Now, onto my best bits! I have a very chatty, happy purr that starts as soon as you’re near. Once I am comfortable with you, I love to follow you around and even climb your legs while you brush your teeth! Playtime is a favourite, especially chasing little balls and fluffy toys.
