About Leo

Hi there! I'm Leo, a young and playful Staffy with a big heart and a lot of love to give.

I'm still learning about the world, so I'm looking for a special home with someone who has a bit of dog experience—someone who understands the ups and downs of raising a bouncy adolescent pup like me! I have lived with another dog in foster care previously, and while I do enjoy their company, I can get a little over-excited and play a bit rough with play sometimes (I’m still learning my manners). I’d love to meet any dogs in your home beforehand, just to make sure we all get along.

Like most pups my age, I love to chew, so I’ll need a family who can guide me with the right chew toys and give me some fun enrichment to keep me busy and happy. I'm used to having people around most of the time and haven’t spent much time on my own, so I’ll need some gentle training to build up my confidence with alone time. Right now, I’d do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, at least while I settle in.

I haven’t met many kids yet, so if there are children in the home, it’d be great for us to meet first to make sure we all feel comfortable together. I’ve always had access to both indoors and outdoors in my foster home, and I’m still working on my toilet training—having access to a yard really helps me stay on track. I know I’ve got a few things to learn, but I promise I’m worth the effort. With the right guidance, patience, and lots of love, I’ll be your best mate in no time.
