About Honey
Say hello to Honey, a gorgeous Great Dane cross with a sweet nature and a heart as big as her paws. True to her name, Honey is affectionate, loyal, and eager to find a family who can offer her the love and companionship she deserves.
Honey has spent her life as the only pet, and she’s most comfortable being the centre of attention—so she’s looking for a home where she’s the only animal. While she hasn’t shown any escape tendencies, she’s a strong, athletic girl, so secure, solid fencing is a must to keep her safe.
Previously housed outdoors, Honey has adapted well to indoor life and would love a home that offers the best of both worlds: cozy indoor comfort and outdoor access where she can stretch those long legs. She does best with a predictable routine and a home where someone is around most of the time.
Honey is gentle and friendly but can be a little boisterous in her excitement, especially during play. For that reason, she’s best matched with families with children aged 6 years and older who are confident around large dogs. She’s not a fan of small, fast-moving animals and can become aroused in their presence, so to keep her calm and content, she’s recommended as the only pet in the household.
