Hi, I’m Moose!

I’m about 10 months old, so I am still a kitten — which means I’ve got plenty of energy and curiosity! I can enjoy hanging out with my humans, and playtime is definitely my absolute favourite.

I can be a little shy at first, so I’d do best in a home where I get my own safe space to start off — maybe a quiet room with all my familiar things and easy access to my food, water, and litter box. Once I settle in, I’ll definitely come looking for you, but I’m all about the fun and the love.

Here’s the thing: I need a family who really understands me. Playtime is super important, but it’s only for toys — especially wand toys! I used to think hands and other body parts were toys, but I’m learning that’s not the case. To keep me on the right track, my humans will need to be consistent and not encourage me to play with their hands or feet.

Make sure I get lots of play to burn off my kitten energy before any pats — and speaking of touch, I’m all about consent-based touch. That means I like to choose when and how I get petted, so it’s important my humans respect my signals and offer a hand when I approach, I am just not a big fan of getting a pat unannounced.
