Hi there, I’m Jed! I’m a sweet senior pup looking for a calm and cozy forever home where I can truly relax and enjoy my golden years.

I’ve spent a lot of life learning what I like — and what I don’t — so I’m hoping to find someone who understands me and is around often. I really love being near my people, and I feel happiest when someone is home most of the time. I don’t like being left alone for long stretches — I’m much more of a companion kind of guy.

I’m also a bit of a one-dog show. I prefer to be the only dog in the house and would do best in a home where I don’t have to bump into other dogs, especially when we’re out walking. Quiet neighborhoods or less busy walking routes are my favorite — they help keep my walks relaxing and stress-free.

When it comes to kids, I’d be most comfortable in a home with older, dog-savvy children 12 years and up who understand that I can be a little unsure with touch and handling. I appreciate having the freedom to choose when I want affection and when I need a little space to myself. One more thing, apartments aren’t really my style. I’d love a home with indoor and outdoor access where I can choose to lounge inside or step out into a secure yard to stretch my legs or take a break. Having a bit more space helps me decompress and feel safe.
