Hi there, I’m Jed! I’m a sweet senior pup looking for a calm and cozy forever home where I can truly relax and enjoy my golden years. These days I’m all about peace and comfort, a soft bed, a gentle routine, and someone nearby who understands the rhythm of an older dog’s life.

I’ve learned over time that I feel safest and happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day. Being alone for long hours really isn’t my thing. I’m much more of a loyal companion than a solo adventurer. I thrive with a person who enjoys quiet company and is home often enough that I don’t feel anxious or forgotten.

I’ve also come to realize that I do best as the only dog in the home. I like having my space and not having to share attention or navigate tense moments with other pups.

When it comes to kids, I’m more comfortable with older, dog-savvy children, those around 12 and up who understand that I might need a little personal space at times. I’ve earned the right to set my own pace with affection, and I really appreciate a home that respects that.

Apartments just aren’t a good fit for me. I’d love a home that offers both indoor comfort and safe, outdoor access somewhere with a secure yard where I can step out for a breath of fresh air or stretch my legs when I feel like it. Having that space helps me decompress and feel more at home.

I’m really hoping to find an experienced owner, someone who understands the little quirks that can come with age, and who’s ready to offer a peaceful, loving home where I can spend my days feeling safe, seen, and cared for. ❤️
