Meet Maximus, a charming and handsome Staffy with a big heart and even bigger personality.

He is on the lookout for a forever home where he can be your one-and-only — your loyal companion, adventure buddy, and best friend. Maximus thrives in a moderately active home and would love a lifestyle that includes both playtime and plenty of time to relax with his people. He’s curious about the world and eager to learn, so he’d really benefit from daily enrichment, training, and time spent exploring new things with you.

Maximus enjoys human company and would be happiest with someone who works average hours so he’s not left alone for too long. While we’re not sure how he’d do with young children, he has a gentle nature and seems to enjoy calm, respectful interactions. He prefers to be the only dog in the home — he likes the spotlight all to himself! One important thing on Maximus’ wish list is a secure outdoor space, like a fenced backyard or safe enclosure, where he can play and stretch his legs freely.
