With the right person by his side, Ares blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be near you.

He is best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time — not because he’s needy, but because he loves being part of your daily life. Whether you’re working in the garden, watching TV, or just relaxing, Ares will be right there, quietly keeping you company.

Due to his preference for calm surroundings, Ares must be the only dog in the home. He is not suited to dog parks or busy social environments but will thrive with one-on-one attention. He will need an experienced owner who understands the GSD breed — someone who can provide kind leadership and keep him mentally and physically stimulated.

Ares enjoys time outdoors but must have secure 6ft colorbond fencing to keep him safe. He also loves being indoors with his people, so access to both is essential.
