Hi there I’m Cain, your new shadow!

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m a gentle, loving boy with a soft heart and an even softer purr. My absolute favorite things? Soaking up the sun in a cozy window spot and following my favorite humans from room to room like the loyal little companion I am. I don’t demand a lot, just all the head scritches you can possibly give, and someone who loves me as much as I’ll love them.

I am FIV positive, which just means I have a slightly compromised immune system, but don’t worry I can still live a full, happy life. This just means I need to live with either no other cats or cats who are also FIV positive like me (we’re a special crew!).

Sometimes I get big emotions I don't always know how to express so I’d do best in a home without young children, kids over 12 who understand how to respect my space would be fine. I really thrive with someone who understands cat behavior, or is willing to learn, so they can pick up on my cues and help me feel safe and secure.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate buddy who will be by your side (and in your sunbeams) through thick and thin, I just might be your guy. Let’s meet and see if we’re meant to be!
