About Sox
Hi, I'm Sox!
A 9-month-old Staffy pup and just like Bonnie Tyler, I'm holding out for a hero!
I came into shelter quite afraid, although the lovely staff teach me ways to cope each day, and you know what? I think I'm actually starting to like it here and I'm ready to learn how to be part of a family.
I'm responsive to training as long as you keep a caring eye out for me to make sure there's no boogeymen. I've never seen one but I know they're there somewhere. I learn best when training is straightforward, I know what is expected of me and I get rewarded for doing the right things, even if it's just laying down or being brave. I understand that humans have to work, so I don't mind if you leave me at home in my safe haven with toys or tasks to keep me busy. I love to play and be active just as much as I love naps and quiet time. One thing I know for sure is that my hero will not have any of those little chaotic minions they call children. They exhaust me, confuse me, and more than anything, they're just plain scary. Quiet, calm and predictable, that's how I roll.
I know my hero is out there somewhere dreaming of me too, I just know it. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet and soulful sidekick, please fill out the form today and wait for my human friends to call you!
