Hi there, I’m Fern!

I’m a quiet, thoughtful little lady looking for a calm and understanding home where I can truly be myself. I enjoy gentle, respectful interactions and feel happiest when I can choose how I connect with my people. While I’m not a cuddly cat and can be a little nervous around touch, Once I find my people, I love sharing space with those I trust and being part of your day in my own peaceful way. If you appreciate a companion who shows affection through presence rather than constant touch, we could be a wonderful match.

The team here at the RSPCA believe I didn’t have many chances to form positive relationships with humans when I was younger, so I can be a little shy at first. I’m still learning how kind and patient people can be. When my boundaries are respected and I’m allowed to set the pace, my confidence continues to grow and my sweet personality really shines.

I would do best in a quiet home with no children under 6, where life moves at a relaxed pace and my body language and personal space are understood.

I’m a big foodie and very motivated by treats, so portion control is important as I’ve gained a little weight. The good news is I love to play and have a great prey drive, especially when feather toys are involved.

Once I feel safe, you’ll see my gentle, quirky charm come through. I’m looking for a home that will love me just as I am.
