Charles will do best in a calm, adult-only home with an experienced owner who can provide him with the space and reassurance he needs to flourish. A safe, secure environment—with both indoor and outdoor access—is essential, along with solid fencing to keep him safe while he explores at his own pace.

To help him settle and grow in confidence, Charles must be the only dog in the home. He’ll thrive in a quiet, steady household where he won’t be overwhelmed, and where his guardian is committed to taking things slowly and building trust over time.

Because of his sensitive nature, multiple meet-and-greets will be required prior to adoption to ensure Charles feels safe, comfortable, and ready to make the transition into his forever home.
