About Skye

Sweet, gentle, and full of potential, Skye is a beautiful young girl who’s just starting to find her paws in the world. At only four months old, she’s still learning about all the new sights and sounds around her and will thrive in an adult-only home where life is quiet, predictable, and reassuring.

Skye has a lovely, affectionate nature and adores spending time with people once she feels safe. She’ll do best in a calm environment with minimal visitors, where her routines stay steady and she can grow in confidence at her own pace. A steady, older canine companion would be a wonderful role model, helping her learn that the world can be a friendly, enjoyable place.

Because she’s still a puppy, Skye will need ongoing training to help her develop into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be. She’s a quick learner and eager to please — positive reinforcement and consistency will help her shine. Skye will also require a dedicated “safe haven” she can retreat to whenever she feels overwhelmed, along with indoor and secure outdoor access to explore safely. She’ll benefit from an owner who is home more often than not, offering her the support and reassurance she needs as she finds her footing.
