Hi there, I'm Fergie, a sweet older lady looking for her retirement home.

I feel most at home indoors, where I can settle into a steady, peaceful routine. I have a moderate energy level, which means I love quiet strolls, a comfy couch, and a few gentle games or puzzles to keep my mind fresh. I respond best to soft, patient guidance and don't require lots of training—a little help from a calm hand is enough to keep me happy and polite.

I take my time to bond and I would be happiest with a home that matches my pace. I’m best with children aged 15 and up as I take time to trust people before getting pats from them.

I would be content as a solo dog, enjoying quiet moments and a predictable day. I can be a bit selective with other dogs, especially in high-energy settings, but outside the home I do well with calm dogs and can tolerate others when things stay peaceful.

I might not be the most energetic all the time, but I give loyal, calm company and appreciate kind words and routine. If you're seeking a mature, affectionate friend who will cherish quiet evenings and steady companionship, I could be the one for you.
