Hi, I’m Whiskers! It's a pleasure to meet you.

I’m a gentle soul and can be a little timid at first, but once I get to know you, I truly love my people. New environments can feel quite scary for me, and I’m not very fond of the shelter setting. That said, when the shelter staff spend time with me, it makes everything feel okay. Their company helps me feel safer and comfortable enough to eat and relax.

I’m looking for a quiet, calm home where I can settle in at my own pace. I’ll need a quiet/calm household with no children under 6, as I was use to live with a quiet older person and haven’t been exposed to louder environments. A peaceful environment is really important for me to feel secure. I should also mention that I prefer to be the only animal in the home, I’m happiest when I don’t have to share my space.
