About Mardi

Hi there, I’m Mardi, and I’ve been told I’m quite the gentle giant.

My favourite thing in the world is being around my people. I’m not overly demanding - I’m just happy to hang out with you while you go about your day, or settle down nearby with a good chew or a cozy spot to rest. I’ve got a calm, easygoing nature and really enjoy the quieter side of life.

When it comes to other dogs, I can be a bit of a lone wolf. They’re just not really my thing, so I’d much prefer to be the only dog in my new home. There is one exception to this rule, and thats my buddy Sorsha! We arrived at the RSPCA together and would be more than happy to be re-homed together! If you are only looking for one new family member, thats okay too. Being the only dog in the home means I can focus all my love and attention on my humans - and trust me, I’ve got plenty to give. I should mention that there is one exception to that rule.

I would love a home with a secure outdoor space where I can stretch my legs, enjoy some fresh air, and then wander back inside to relax near you. A nice balance of indoor comfort and outdoor access suits me perfectly. However, I may be able to live in an apartment if you are comfy with giving me regular toilet breaks and a nice cozy bed!

If you’re looking for a loyal, relaxed companion who will be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, I think we might be perfect for each other. Just to make sure were the right match, I would love a chance to meet every member of your household.
