About Remi

Hi, I’m Remi. I’m a nearly five-month-old domestic short hair with a gentle nature and a quiet soul. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was really scared and unsure about the world around me. People felt overwhelming, and I didn’t quite know who to trust. But over time, I’ve started to realise that not all humans are scary, and I’m slowly learning to feel safe.


I’m a very sweet girl at heart, and once I start to feel comfortable, my soft and affectionate side begins to show. I just need a little patience and understanding to help me get there. New environments can be a bit much for me at first, so I’ll need time and space to settle in and build my confidence.


Because I can startle easily, I’d do best in a calm home without young children under six, where things are predictable and gentle. If you’re someone who can give me the kindness and reassurance I need, I promise I’ll grow into a loving and loyal companion in my own time.
