Hi, I'm Blue. I carry a quiet, watchful warmth that blooms when I know I’m with someone who respects my pace. People often tell me I have a steady, honest look in my eyes. I’m a single-dog household kind of pup, and I’ll tell you right away. I’m happiest with someone who lets me ease into life, one gentle step at a time.

My ideal day is simple: a gentle walk, a quiet corner to rest, a warm lap if you’re offering, and a sunbeam to stretch out in. I’m moderate in energy, not chasing every thrill, but I’ll happily wander with you and sniff the world in small, careful sips. I like being both indoors and outdoors and I like being around the family.

Because I’m a bit tense around other dogs, I do best with a calm routine and a patient guide who has experience managing a smart, cautious dog. On walks I can move past other dogs if they’re far away so quieter times or routes with less dog traffic are my preference. I don’t thrive in off-leash situations and I’m happiest with a family that understands how to help me on the harder days.

I’m best suited to a home with teens 15 and older, and a space where I can settle in at my own pace. If you’re the right match, I’d love to meet you.
