About Reg

Reg is a bright and affectionate boy looking for a patient and understanding home. While he can be wary of strangers and alarm barks initially, he quickly softens with treats and engagement. He forms strong bonds with his people and may be prone to hyperattachment, so structure and routine will be essential. Reg is highly food-motivated, enjoys sniffing out treats, and loves toys, particularly soft ones and the flirt pole. He shows great focus in training, knowing sit, drop, and hand targeting, and has been working on mat training. On walks, he can be strong on the lead and initially frantic but settles with guidance. Reg is undersocialised with other dogs and may feel conflicted in their presence, but with careful management, he has the potential to build confidence and even have a walking buddy. He has some separation anxiety and is currently on medication, which has been helping alongside training. With continued support, Reg will thrive as a loyal and loving companion.
