About Butch

Meet Butch - Your future snack-fueled sidekick! If you've been dreaming of a best friend who's equal parts cuddlebug, goofball, and food enthusiast, Butch is your guy! This handsome lad might start off a little shy, but give him approximately 3.5 seconds (or one tasty treat), and he'll be leaning in for chin scratches like you've been besties forever.

Butch is currently enrolled in Impulse Control 101 (with mixed success - he's a very enthusiastic student). He's learning all the classics: sit, drop, stay, and "please stop jumping on people in excitement." Butch is not for the feint of heart, and will need an experienced dog owner and an adult only home. His favorite hobbies include sniffari walks, collecting enrichment toys, and perfecting his art of giving puppy-dog eyes for snacks.

Dog friends? He's open to strict negotiations. He's still working on his social skills but could potentially live with a similar sized, well-matched canine buddy, pending a meet-and-greet. However, he must be fed separately because food is life, and sharing is overrated.

With time, training (lots and lots of it!!), a big backyard, and the right guidance, he'll continue to blossom into an amazing companion. If you're looking for a goofy, affectionate, food-loving buddy who will keep you entertained (and maybe try to steal your snacks), Butch is waiting to meet you!
