Hello, I'm Ken, Life has been a little overwhelming for me, so I'm hoping to find a quiet and peaceful environment where I can settle in at my own pace. A calm, patient family will be the perfect match for me as I work through some of my nerves and start to trust again.I'd feel most comfortable in a home without young children, as I'm not quite ready for all the hustle and bustle that comes with little ones. I'd do best with older kids or adults who understand that I need a little extra time and space to feel safe.I'm not overly interested in having a doggo friend at the moment, but I might enjoy the company of a calm, laid-back female dog who's easygoing. A companion like that could help me feel more at ease, but we'd need to meet first to see how we get along.Toys are fun, though! I've played with both a tennis ball and a squeaky toy, so I'm starting to figure out how to have some fun with playtime. A good stash of toys might be just the thing to help me feel more comfortable and entertained while I settle in.I'm still learning how to walk on a lead-no one's shown me how to do it yet-but with a little patience and encouragement, I'll catch on. And once I'm comfortable, I'd love to go on walks and explore the world with you!I'll need a secure, solid fence at my new home, as I'm still adjusting to new spaces.
