About Bruce

Meet Bruce, an energetic and lovable Rottweiler cross who is ready to find his perfect match! Bruce is an excitable boy who absolutely loves to play-especially with his tennis ball. If you're looking for a dog who'll entertain himself with toys, and make you laugh with his goofy, silly antics, Bruce might just be the one for you. He's always eager to be included in whatever you're doing, and he thrives on attention and affection.

Bruce is looking for a home with someone experienced in handling large breeds, particularly those with Rottweiler experience. His excitement and strong personality make him a perfect fit for an owner who can provide structure, training, and a lot of love. Bruce does well with older children as he can be a bit pushy when asking for pats, often nudging between your legs for attention. He may not be suited to homes with elderly people, as his enthusiastic nature could be overwhelming.

Bruce loves his food and would do best in a home where his boundaries are respected, and he has clear guidance. He's also known to be a gate charger, so secure fencing (timber or colorbond) is essential to keep him safe and happy. Bruce would be okay as an outdoor dog, but he'd love the chance to come inside and be with his people when they're home.

Bruce is a little bit forward when meeting other dogs, and while he can be a bit pushy, he's looking for a playmate with a similar high-energy, robust play style. He could also thrive as a single dog if he's the only furry friend in the home.
