Hi there, I'm Suzie! I'm a sweet and smart girl who's looking for a home where I can feel safe, loved, and a little less nervous. I may not be super motivated by food or toys, but I absolutely adore getting pats and cuddles - that's my kind of reward!

When it comes to other dogs, I have a preference for a calm, tolerant, and playful male dog friend. I especially seem to love the big dogs, so if you have one, we could be the best of pals!

I know how to sit on command, but I'd love to learn some other tricks with you too. I'm definitely a smart girl, so with a little patience and practice, I could be an even better listener. I'm a bit reactive toward other dogs, so solid fencing is a must in my new home to keep me safe and secure.

One thing you should know is that I am super people motivated! I love saying hello to everyone I meet, and I'm really sweet about it. I'm not shy at all when it comes to humans. However, I do get nervous when I'm indoors, so I'm likely only ever been an outside dog. I'll need some time and encouragement to feel more comfortable indoors, but I promise I'll be so grateful for your patience.

As for kids, I'd do best with older ones. Loud noises and fast movements make me nervous, so a calm environment would really help me settle in.
