About Chiefer

We are pleased to introduce this big boy we have in care, he has shown us to be a gentle giant with everyone he has met at the shelter, he can be a little shy at first but within minutes he'll be looking for a leg to lean on, not realizing he is such a giant! We have recommended children over the age of 8 due to his size, but in saying that he is very, very gentle!

Chiefer walks well on lead, he would love to have a dog in the home to hang out with but is not essential, he copes well on his own in the home, but like everyone, we always want someone around to chill with! He is happy to be outdoors but allowed inside access of a night for a snuggle.

Chiefer is toilet trained, likes to please his people and is a quick learner, he is super food motivated which we all know makes training that little bit easier! Due to his size, secure fencing would be ideal.

If you do have another dog, they would need to come down to the shelter for a meet and greet with him :) any smaller children we would recommend bringing down too!
