Meet Smudge, a beautiful and mature lady who's ready to settle into a calm, quiet home where she can be your loyal and loving companion. She came into our care through no fault of her own, and with all the hard work already done, Smudge is ready to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like cozy naps, gentle petting, and the occasional play session. Smudge thrives in a peaceful environment and would love a place where she can retreat to when feeling overwhelmed, like a comfy hideaway or a tall scratching post (her absolute favorite!). She's a low-maintenance girl who will provide endless love and companionship for many years to come, and while she's not lived with kids before, she would do well with slightly older, respectful children who can approach her calmly. Smudge would prefer to be the only cat in her new home, as she's shown a strong dislike toward other cats in the shelter, but she's sure to be the perfect solo companion. Always an indoor kitty, Smudge is looking for a quiet space to call her own, where she can relax and enjoy life at her own pace.
