About Barry
Meet Barry, a handsome Rhode Island Red rooster looking for a new home! Barry has recently been wormed and treated for mites, so he is in great health and ready to thrive in a loving environment.
Barry was surrendered by his previous owner due to an overabundance of roosters. It was noted that he did not adapt well around children, which may suggest he would do best in a quieter, adult-only home or with older children who understand how to interact with him respectfully.
Barry is a proud and beautiful rooster, but due to his history, he may require some patience and understanding as he adjusts to his new surroundings. He thrives in a calm environment and would appreciate a space where he can feel secure and free to roam without feeling overwhelmed.
Barry would do best in a home that can provide a peaceful living environment without young children. A rural setting with plenty of outdoor space would be ideal, allowing him to roam and forage as he pleases.
We recommend that potential adopters have some experience with chickens and understand the unique needs of roosters. Barry could be a wonderful companion and protector in the right setting!
Thank you for considering giving Barry a second chance at a happy life!
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
